Speed Review: Burt's Bees Peppermint & Rosemary Body Wash

I'm not a morning person & particularly struggle at this time of year when the dark & cold make my bed an even more appealing place to stay. As such, I find uplifting and energising body washes to be almost an essential and have recently been using Burt's Bees Peppermint & Rosemary Body Wash. The company states that this 99.2% natural body wash contains peppermint oil & rosemary leaf extract to give an energising boost for body, mind & spirit and to leave skin feeling clean, smooth & refreshed.

On first impressions, I liked the effortlessly cool packaging and was happy to have it on display in my shower. The packaging is functional with a flip top dispenser and what's more, I liked that the plastic bottle is transparent so that I could tell how much product remained.

Burt's Bees Peppermint & Rosemary Body Wash has a relatively liquidy gel formula. It barely lathers which I didn't mind because I can find that body washes which contains SLS strip & dry out the skin. However, if you want to make it go further, I'd recommend using with a bath puff.

I loved the intense, natural peppermint scent which is ideal for morning use as it really helps to awaken the senses. The inclusion of peppermint oil means that this body wash isn't suitable for use in sensitive areas as it can be irritating. I feel that it delivers on claims, leaving skin feeling fresh, clean & revitalised.

Even though it's not the cheapest body wash, I feel that the £9.99 for 350ml price tag is fair & that this product offers good value for money thanks to the aromatherapy benefits.
